We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2025, at the age of 93, Edib Amin Jamil Kirdar of Tempe, Arizona passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Edib may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Amin Kirdar and Nuzhet Kirdar; and his spouse Lale Zeynep Keymen. He is survived by: his children, Leyla (James Haupert) and Murad (Matthew Simpson); and his brother Jamil. He is also survived by his children and their partners.
