It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jesse Adams Upshaw of Tempe, Arizona, born in Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on January 10, 2023, at the age of 38, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William Costa, James and Margie Upshaw. He is survived by: his parents, James Upshaw and Kathlene Costa Upshaw of Gatesville, Texas; his siblings, Josiah (Nikki) of Mesa, Arizona and Billie Joy (Joshua) of Waco; and his siblings' children, Brannon and Avonlea. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and numerous close friends.
Donations in Jesse's memory can be made to The Salvation Army and the Come and See Foundation (to fund future episodes of The Chosen), as these two organizations were very near and dear to Jesse's heart.
