He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Lester and Evalyn Lester; his wife Shirley Bloyd; and his sisters, Clair, Evalyn, Eleanor and Carolyn.
He is survived by: his son Phil; his daughter-in-law Beth; his daughter Janet; his son-in-law Dan; his granddaughters, Hilary (Patrick), Hannah (Jacob), Alexandria and Jenna; and his sister Nancy.
