He is survived by: his mother Rosemary Kempner of Scottsdale, AZ; his sister Nancy Harlow of Paradise Valley, AZ; his nephew Matthew Harlow; his former wife Aimee Schwartz of Tempe, AZ; his stepbrother Alan Kempner (Cynthia Kempner) of Scottsdale, AZ; and his half-siblings, Bradley Randel of Las Vegas, NV and Caroline Crawford of San Diego, CA..
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home (4800 E Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Valley (HOV.ORG) Their team of compassionate professionals respected John's wishes and guided the private dignified end of his life journey.
