He is survived by: his siblings, Rosemary Vega and Manuel Elias Salazar; his wife Grace Vega; his son Alex Vega (Monica); his grandchildren, Cameron, Aiden and Izabelle Vega; his siblings, Delores Montijo (Ted), Linda Mendoza (Steve) and Danny Vega (Marie); and his siblings-in-law, Cathy Pompa (Joey), Gilbert Jacques (Margie) and Albert Jacques. He is also survived by grandchildren, and 9 extended great grandchildren.
