He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Chase McGaughey and Mel McGaughey. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his son Matthew; his daughter-in-law Raya; and his brothers, Richard (Loree Ann) and Ronald (Mary Jane). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
