She was predeceased by: her parents, James Jones and Kathryn Jones; her brother Robert Jones; and her husband Albert Thiernau. She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly; her son-in-law Cecil Dinsmore; her brother Thomas; her sister-in-law Mary Beth Jones; her grandchildren, Erin Ruano (Edvin), Scott Cooper, Ryan Otten and Jamie Otten; her great grandchild Emilia Ruano; her stepdaughter Suzanne Royston (Ralph); and her pet Matisse.

Donations may be made in Sandy's memory to the Disabled American Veterans.
