Wendell Emery Tompkins Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wendell Emery Tompkins of Tempe, Arizona, born in Mapleton, Maine, who passed away on July 4, 2020 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wendell Emery Tompkins to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer M. Tompkins and Adeline Tompkins (Bull); his siblings-in-law, Sherwood Barton, Wendell Blackstone, Clayton Blackstone, Joanne Tompkins, Lois Barton, Doris Barton and Phyllis Blackstone; and his niece Heidi Knight (Tompkins).

He is survived by: his wife Betty Tompkins (Barton) of Tempe; his children, Nancy Blount (Bill) of Hesperia, MI, Steven Tompkins (Becky) of Greenville, SC and Jeff Tompkins (Annette) of Orangevale, CA.; his grandchildren, Erin Montanye (Phil), Andrew Blount (Emily), Zach Blount, Ethan Blount (Catherine), Paige Converse (Alex), Kelsee Blount, Karlee Blount, Will Blount, Kaitlynn Tompkins, Kaleigh Tompkins (Jon Ludka), Karis Tompkins, Carissa Tompkins and Karyn Tompkins; his brothers, Roland Tompkins (Pauline) of Presque Isle, ME and Gerald Tompkins (Eileen) of Grand Forks, ND; and his aunt Ardis Tompkins Libby of Crouseville, ME.. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
