He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Huitt; his brother Rick Huitt; his son Mikel Crees; his former wife Janet Jobe; and his girlfriend Janet Lee.

He is survived by: his granddaughter Kiena Crees; and his great grandchildren, Kadence Crees-Miller and Alek Crees-Miller.
