He is survived by: his children, Hector and Clorinda Contreras Erives (Octavio Erives); his granddaughters, Catalina Vianey Erives (Magdaleno Perez IV) and Josefina Lucero Erives; his great grandchild Magdaleno Perez V.; and his close friend Sasparilla.
