He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Dolores Barrios and Tomás Zavala Barrios; his brothers, Tomas and Santiago; and his son Steven Joseph Barrios.
He is survived by: his wife Frances; his daughters, Lelani Mitchell and Lynette Valdez; and his grandchildren, Tristen and Diego. He is also survived by his siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Augustine's Cathedral (192 S Stone Ave, Tucson, AZ 85701). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
