He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosendo O Castro and Julia Montano Castro; and his brother Rafael Montano (Socorro Friend). He is survived by: his wife Maria Elena Valencia Castro; his stepchildren, Luis Valencia (Monica Encinas), Jose Antonio Valencia and Denise Questa (Eric); his daughters, Nicole Denise Kittelson and Maria Estella Figueroa; and his siblings, Manuel Castro (Maria Elha Bermudez), Francisco Castro (Anna Barcelo), Rogelio Castro (Yolanda Gutierrez), Gilberto Castro (Maria Estrada), Gloria Ahumada (Hector), Ruben Castro (Juanita Guthrie) and Dora Castro. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
