It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anita E. Halbach of Tucson, Arizona, born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Ramsey and Mary Ramsey (Umland); her husband Eugene Halbach; her son Robert; and her siblings, Paul Ramsey, Lucille Ramsey, Marie Linxwiler and Luella Willitz.

She is survived by: her children, Dianne Gossman of Yuma, AZ, Judy Guy (Reggie) of Estes Park, CO, Mary Halbach of Tucson, AZ, Kenneth Halbach (Susan) of Tucson, AZ, Ronald Halbach (Natalie) of Phoenix, AZ, Gerald Halbach (Connie) of Tucson, AZ and Theodore Halbach (Sandra) of Madison, WI. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

“I loved Anita —she was always a favorite aunt. My favorite childhood memory of her is in the Bristol farmhouse kitchen. She was always cooking with Grandma Ramsey by her side.. Anita was always waiting for us when we came back for the house from running around the farm. I will miss her. Anita was also a favorite of my mother, Ruth, who was her sister-in-law. They had a great friendship that didn’t depend on being a relative.”
