He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jose and Dolores Altamirano; his mother Frances A. Alvarez; his siblings-in-law, Oscar and Olga Burruel; his brother Larry Alvarez; his aunt Mary A. Gradillas; and his uncle Oscar T. Altamirano (Ruben).
He is survived by: his wife Bernadette; his children, Caroline, Marc, Matthew, Armando, Naideny, Oscar, Ruben and Lisa; his grandchildren, Marcos Daniel, Amanda, Luis and Luke Anthony; his great grandchildren, Camila and Luis Andres; his siblings, Irene, Pat and David; his sister-in-law Norma; and his uncle Joe T. Altamirano. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
