She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Kuefner and Grace Kuefner; her brother Robert Kuefner of Urbandale; her former husband Richard W. Graves; her husband George M. Kay; her sons, Gary Graves (Kathryn) of Raymore and Brian Graves (Jane) of Carrollton; and her granddaughters, Emily, Charlotte, Sarah and Hannah. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
