It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Kay Deaton in Tucson, Arizona, who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Clarence Blalock, Sr. and Zula Thompson-Blalock; her son Todd Charles Deaton; and her brother Robert Clarence Blalock, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Dana Kay Deaton of Tucson and Virgil Autry Deaton (Mary) of Richmond Hill; her grandchildren, Caitlyn Stewart of Savannah, Georgia, Shelbie Deaton (Tyler), Ricketson of Richmond Hill, Hayden Deaton (Rod) and Morris of Vidalia; her great grandchildren, Ryan, Ellis, Hazel and Charlotte; and her sisters, Gail Blalock Helton, Becky Gates (Bill) and Cheryl Blalock. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
