He was predeceased by: his parents, Sandra Zuck and Kenneth Lee Reed; his stepmother Barbara Ann Reed; his brother Kenneth Ray Reed; and his son John A Watson.

He is survived by: his wife Connie Watson Reed; his daughter Lisa Becker (Richard); his grandchildren, Jonathan Watson, Adam Becker and Ava Becker; and his sisters, Cheryl Ann Bailey, Diane Rene O'Connor, Georgenna Ann Holt and Barbara Alice Perez. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
