He was predeceased by: his parents, Jules Evans and Gwendoline Evans; and his brothers, Billy Phelps and Dairl Evans. He is survived by: his wife Elsie; his daughter Pat; and his sisters, Wilma (Robert), Speelman (Wooster), Linda Evans of Clearwater, FL, Lois Miller of Lakeland, FL, Joan (Don), Thokey of Dayton, OH and Paula Evans of Clearwater, FL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations are requested for the Dairl Evans Youth Camp Scholarship Fund, established in honor of Carroll's younger brother Dairl (1948-2021) at the GodsWord Bible Church, 12740 Co Hwy 330, Big Prairie, OH 44611 or.

“I will never forget my good friend Carroll Evans.He was the most steady, even keeled, Christian that I've ever known. Very funny too, I will tell y'all a story. Carroll was doing electrical work on a stage at a church and there was a guy that was trying to tune a piano.Carroll was known for whistling songs to himself and was doing so while he was working.The piano tuner told him "would you please stop I can't get this piano tuned with you doing that. A few minutes later Carrol started again. 🤣”
