He is survived by: his wife Sharon Heaps; his brother Robert (Mary); his sons, Scott Heaps (Rachel) and Matt Heaps (Julie); his stepchildren, Valerie Chatterley, Danny Whittaker (Amy) and Dane Whittaker (Anne); and his pet Ruger. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
