Dorothy Mae Holder Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Holder (Tucson, Arizona), who passed away on April 2, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gabe Holder and Odessa -Holder of Harrison Switch; her daughter Baby Girl Carr; her husband Robert C. Carr, Sr.; her sisters, Leatha Mae Reed, Lillie Faye Scales and Ardelia Strode; her son-in-law Marion "Mortie" Person; her grandchildren, Michael Deion Ashley, Tamarus Carr, Angel and Angelique Jones; and her great grandchildren, Promise and Alaina Ashley.

She is survived by: her daughters, Shirley O. Carr-Williams (Larry) and Cynthia R. Carr-Person of Tucson, AZ.; her grandson Robert "Bobby" C. Carr, Jr.; and her son Robert "Bobby" Carr, Jr. of Tucson, AZ.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
