He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Schlecht and Lydia Schlecht; his wife Antonia Schlecht (Toni); his brother Curtis Schlecht (Terri); and his granddaughters, Amanda Schmid and Melissa Houg Schmid (Anthony).
He is survived by: his brother Donald Schlecht (Donna); his children, Andrew Schlecht (Vallorie) and Reinet Schmid (Dacle); his grandchildren, Katharina Ayer (Kyle), Eric Schmid, Victoria Leon, Anthony Schmid (Angie), Jonathan Schlecht (Alex) and Elizabeth Schlecht; his great grandchildren, Kaedence Ayer, Alanna Leon, Korina Ayer, Rebekka Leon and Emily Foixe; Toni and Duane. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
