“Coach was instrumental in my high school years at Flowing Wells High School.....I tried to play Freshman BB but could not make the team.....was told by another coach to give it up and move on to Baseball or Track .Coach Nymeyer walked up and said, "Jerry, you need to go after the things you want and ignore everybody else....That started a life long friendship...Ed Nymeyer was beyond the best.. To me, and many others he was GOAT... he wil be missed by hundreds and hundreds of people in Tucson”
