It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Lavina Sawicki of Tucson, Arizona, born in Roodhouse, Illinois, who passed away on July 15, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Guy Wiggins and Lucille Petering; her former husband Chester Sawicki; her brothers, Thomas Wiggins and Guy Wiggins; and her children, Joseph, Patricia Luckhurst and Geraldine.
She is survived by: her sister Patsy Reed; her daughter Lucille Sawicki; her children-in-law, Marjorie Sawicki and Vince Luckhurst; and her grandchildren, Bertram Luckhurst (Crystal), Laetitia Olson (Tyke), Earl Luckhurst and Matthew Sawicki (Kristi). She is also survived by her nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to assist with medical expenses.
