Edward K. Zinser Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Edward K. Zinser in Tucson, Arizona is shared. Edward, born on October 12, 1957 in Queens, New York, passed away on August 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Edward will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Edward by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Edward is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Edward’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.

He is survived by: his wife Deborah Zinser; his mother Mildred Zinser; his mother-in-law Barbara Cardillo; his siblings, Annette Buzzanca (Anthony) and Richard Zinser (Joan); and his siblings-in-law, Anneli Zinser, Gary and Ronald Merly. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Stephen's Church (6948 Main St, Trumbull, CT 06611). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (1056 Daniels Farm Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611-2660).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project or National Newfoundland Rescue, both causes that were important to Edward.
