Ellis of Mobile, AL; his wife Patricia Anne Pierce of Tucson, AZ; his children, Page Pierce (Grace), Pamela Palmer (Richard), Paul Pierce (Chitra) and Patricia Peterson (Gary); and his grandchildren, Paloma, Mary, Regan, Ravi, Jack and Ruhi.
