She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Bernal and Amelia Bernal; her husband Mike Villa; her granddaughter Evette Ortiz; and her son-in-law Ignacio Gastellum.

She is survived by: her daughters, Monica Ortiz, Becky Gastellum and Virginia Villa. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
