Elizabeth leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Elizabeth’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Elizabeth will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Zalud and Charles Zalud; her sister Marion Franzen; and her son Kevin Warapius (Arthur Warapius). She is survived by: her son Glen Warapius; her parent-in-law Gale; and her daughters, Gale and Karen. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Hope Cemetery (3555 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be sent to 40 Days for Life and the American Macular Degeneration Foundation.
