He was predeceased by: his parents, Esteban Vega and Josephine T. Vega; his aunt Petra L. Torres; his siblings, Josie Tadeo, Frank, Robert and David Vega; and his grandson Manuel Aguilar Vega.
He is survived by: his wife Bertha "Bertie" Vega; his children, Esteban (Andrea), Paul, Celina and Raul Vega (Vero); and his siblings, Peter (Martha), Mary Otero, Cecilia Wood and Olga Anchondo (Danny). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
