He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmen Cornejo and Maria Leyva; his brother Joe Cornejo; and his granddaughter Luanna Encinas. He is survived by: his wife Minnie Cornejo; and his siblings, Lupe Beccera, Mary Villanueva and Ernesto "Chacho" Chavez.
