She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose T. Ortiz and Florinda Ortiz (Naranjo); and her brother Reuben Silverbird (Ortiz). She is survived by: her siblings, Steve Ortiz (Connie), Anita Sachs, Juanita Harter and Frankie Ray Ortiz; her children, Florinda (Tom), Gloria (Craig), Ida (Robert), Julian (Shannon) and Glenn (Joanna); and her brother-in-law David Bravo (Cari). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
