He is survived by: his daughter Charlotte McCutcheon (Adam); his granddaughter Abby McCutcheon; his son Richard Chavez; his grandsons, Noah Chavez and Cooper Chavez; and his sisters, Gloria Valdez (Anselmo), Isabel Bufanda (Robert) and Valerie Chavez. He is also survived by numerous extended family, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 8:15 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (300 Mountain View Ave, Hayden, AZ 85135). A rosary was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 8:15 AM to 8:45 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
