He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleazar and Mercedes; his siblings, Eleazar, Oscar, Roberto, Ralph, Maria Jesus, Mercedes and Bertha; and his niece Sylvia. He is also survived by four children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
