She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Morin and Helen Morin (Spencer); and her husband Robert Wilkinson. She is survived by: her daughters, Sara Niederlehner of SaddleBrooke and Lori Niederlehner of Rochester Hills, Michigan; her stepchildren, Diane Wilkinson (Ken Hoge), Suzanne Wilkinson (Van Rice), Jim Wilkinson, Tracy Hamill, Marianne Wilkinson (John Edwards) and Laurel Wilkinson (Hans Boden); her grandchildren, James Ian Anderson (Amanda), Gregory Frank Anderson (Chris Hadlock), Kylar Hoge, Brad Hamill, Rachel Hamill, Gillian Edwards, Ella Edwards, Alex Boden, Nina Boden and Julia Boden; and her great grandchildren, Gregory James Anderson, Ainsley Steven Anderson and Darby Jean Anderson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home (40 S Manning St, Hillsdale, MI 49242). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, in honor of Joan's memory.
