Hamel of Tucson, Arizona, born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 24, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Skea and Lorraine Y. Skea (La France); her brother George Skea; and her siblings-in-law, Donald Hamel, Cheryl Houle and Carol Couture.
She is survived by: her husband James M. "Jim" Hamel; her daughters, Samantha A. Hamel of Chicopee and Angela R. Hamel of Chicopee; her brother Steven Skea of Massachusetts; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Hamel (Jeri) of Blandford, Francis Hamel (Marcia) of Acushnet, David Hamel (Mila) of Phoenix, AZ, Dennis Hamel (Maryann) of Westfield, Kevin Hamel (Sharon) of Granby, Mary Beth Houle (Denis) of Granby and Terri O'Connell (Jim) of Chicopee. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that memorial donations be made in her memory to the Harmony House of Western Massachusetts, 66 View Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
