He was predeceased by: his brother Higinio; and his children, Marsha and Joey. He is survived by: his siblings, Ruben, Raquel and Carmella; his wife Hope Gutierrez; and his son Greg Gutierrez. He is also survived by his wife, son, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary (North Chapel) (204 S Stone Ave, Tucson, AZ 85701). A rosary was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Augustine Cathedral (192 S Stone Ave, Tucson, AZ 85701). A Mass was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine's Cathedral (192 S Stone Ave, Tucson, AZ 85701).
