He was predeceased by: his daughter Angela G. Cummings; his siblings, Betty Jean Pope, Dorothy D. (Arnold Benson), Don E. Cummings and Bobbie Gail Cummings (James O. Cummings); his stepfather Karl J. Everly; and his parents-in-law, Ada L. "Lucy" Klemz and Thomas R. Qualls.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia D Hebel (Bernard M.) and Shannon B. Warren (James A.); his grandchildren, Brandi L., Rebecca G. Peterson (Johnny), John C. Hebel (Katie), Angelica M. Warren and Austin J. Warren; and his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Cummings and Thomas Pope. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Root Funeral Home (312 E 7th St, Michigan City, IN 46360). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
