John Andrew Somero Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Andrew Somero of Tucson, Arizona, born in Baraga, Michigan, who passed away on July 11, 2023 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Somero and Helen Somero (Ollanketo); and his siblings, Evelyn Somero, Marilyn Somero (Gregorich) and Kenneth Somero.
He is survived by: his brother David Somero (Cheryl); and his close friend Lynn Derosier. He is also survived by numerous friends and co-workers.
Upon completion of his schooling, he went to work for the VA in Tucson, AZ where he was instrumental in the planning and developing of an Alzheimer's Unit where he worked for several years.
