Jonathan Christopher Blevins Obituary

Jonathan Christopher Blevins passed away on June 13th, 2020 at the age of 35. He was born to his Mother, Louise and Father, John on December 20, 1984 in Somerset, Kentucky. He would later move to Oneida, Tennessee and was raised by his loving grandparents, Arnold and Patricia Burke. He was raised in the Baptist Faith and attended Pine Creek United Baptist Church every week. His Faith in God was a cornerstone of his life and he loved old Christian hymns.
In his youth, John was a proud Boy Scout and football player and always identified himself as a proud Tennessean. After graduating high school in Oneida he attended Embry Riddle Aviation Aeronautical University in Florida where he learned to fly planes. Flying remained one of his great passions until his passing. He’d eventually relocate to Tucson to pursue business opportunities where he met the love of his life, Nalleli and they were wed in 2009. Owner of multiple successful businesses over his life, John found his calling in entrepreneurship and engrossed himself in all aspects of industry. He was a proud and successful entrepreneur and a competent carpenter. He always said he owed that skill set to his Grandfather who taught him to swing a hammer before he could walk, and had ambitions to one day open his own woodshop.
He was a jokester with family and friends but would not hesitate to help a stranger in need. He loved to laugh with everyone and would play pranks on those close to him. Of his numerous accomplishments, he always said being a father was his greatest achievement. He loved playing Legos with his oldest son Jaden, building bonfires and completing puzzles with his son Rylen, playing barbies with his daughter Avril, and giving kisses to his youngest daughter Siena.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Blevins. He is survived by his wife Nalleli, children Jaden (16), Rylen (9), Avril (4), and Siena (1 month), grandparents Arnold and Patricia, mother Louise, and sisters Crystal and Hannah. He was known as “Tio John” to his many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and burial will be held at East Lawn Palms Funeral Home in Tucson Arizona on Friday, June 26th at 10:30am. Due to Covid-19 masks and social distancing are required. Flower arrangements can be sent to the family to East Lawn Palms Funeral Home.
