Justo Solis wrote a sympathy message

“I meet Juan a few years ago at Santa Rita ballpark, as I approached the field, I stood close to the dugout to watch the game. A short while later he asked me if I brought my glove, I answered no but next time I will. Well as it turned out he did contact me, and I joined the baseball team. He always greeted me with kindness and dignity. From time to time, he showed his humorous side, and we would tell stories about the past and laugh and laugh in the dugout I will miss coach Juan.”
