He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jennie; his brother Rudy Alcantar; his children, Luis Alcantar, Julia Ramirez (Richard), Yolanda Alcantar Miranda (Octovio), Mary Rodriguez (Daniel), Cristina Lara (Julio) and Mercy Smith (William); his grandchildren, Eliza, Mark, Riana Lara, Candy Rodriguez, Daisy, Daniel Jr. and Krystal Alcantar (Mary Alcantar); and his parents, Jose Alcantar and Ramona Guerrero (Jennie). He was also cherished by great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
