As Katharine departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Katharine may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Katharine leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Katharine A. McAlmon and George A. McAlmon; her husband John T. Pool Jr.; her son John K.; and her brother George A. McAlmon Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Richard of Landisville and Marilen of Tucson. She is also survived by four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two nieces and three nephews.
