She was predeceased by: her father Michael Merkel; her uncle Bob Merkel; her aunt Donna Schenbeck; and her grandparents, Edward, Henrietta Greckel, Joe and Caroline Merkel.
She is survived by: her daughter Kammie Wilson (John); her grandson Eric Wilson; her mother Mary Lee (Greckel); her aunt Gerri Merkel; and her uncle Roger Merkel (Bette).
A memorial has been established to Emerald Court and Regional West Hospice.
