She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Galinn and Dorothy Galinn (Bellman); her husband Mort Mendelsohn; her children, Sharol Brickman and Ron Mendelsohn (Alison); and her grandchildren, Aaron, Daniel Brickman and Laurin Mendelsohn.

Donations will support student travel for competitors and conferences, equipment, and events such as the ones that Leanie enjoyed. Memorial contributions may also be made to a music program or fund at a synagogue, school, or church of your choice.
