It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine M. Tomac (Tucson, Arizona), born in Gladstone, North Dakota, who passed away on March 28, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bergenheier and Sophie Bergenheier; her great grandchild James Robert; her granddaughter Michelle Renee Schum; and her brothers, Harry (Jackie), Vernon (Marie), Donald (Linda) and Joseph (Helen).

She is survived by: her husband Lloyd Lee Tomac; her children, James Alan Tomac (Shirley), Anita Rae Tschida (Dale), Connie Jo Schum (George Gonzales), Leslie Lee Tomac (Sharon), Brian Wayne Tomac (Sheila), Dirck Anthony Tomac Belgrade (Tara) and Aimee Marie Burski (James); her grandchildren, Lori Ann Bagley (Rob), Sandra Marie Tombre (Ron) and Justin Michael Tomac (Alicia); her great grandchildren, Evan, Selena, Robin, Morgan, Emma and Gabriela; her great great grandchildren, LeAnne and Rowan; her great grandchildren, Michael Tombre, Katie Rolf (Logan), Hope and Mia; her grandchildren, Andrew Lee Tschida (Tiffani) and Lorraine; her great grandchildren, Kialee Shaw, Keylee Tschida, Rylee Tschida, Tatum Chantler, Karsyn, Piper and Aviannah; her grandchildren, Jessica Louise Durst (Adam) and Joseph Maurice Schum (Kate); her great grandchildren, Brayden, Rylan, Addison, Noah, Hanna, Adalyn and Elliott; her grandchildren, Cecilia Helen Bellendir (Jeff), Reginald Lloyd Tomac (Alexandra), Axel Leslie Tomac, John Heidenreich and Andrew Heidenreich (Michelle); her great grandchildren, Callen Marie, Avonlea Quinn, Graham Oliver and Maren Colette; her grandchildren, Matthew Eric Tomac (Sarah), Sarah Joy Tomac and Daniel Christopher Tomac (Brittany); her great grandchildren, Nathanial, Sophia, Natalya, Kyria, Hailie, Henlee, Easton and Emerson; her grandchildren, Geoff Anthony Tomac, Nicole Alicia Tomac, Emily Sophia, Alexis Rachel Tomac (Lexi), Holly Marie Burski, Cale Anthony Burski and Jacob James Burski (Danielle); her great grandchildren, Vincent, Elise and Adeline; her sisters, Pauline Svihovec (Gene), Eleanor Tomac and Josephine Burdick (David); and her granddaughter Lexi. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
