She was predeceased by: her parents, Art VanAsselt and Sena VanAsselt; her former husband Donald Forslund; her husband William Thanos (Bill); her daughter Leslie Forslund; her grandson Brian Forslund; and her brother William VanAsselt.
She is survived by: her children, Lynda Nigh, Laura Klaich and David Forslund; her grandchildren, Daniel, Alex Forslund, Derek, Dawn and Joshua Washington; and her great grandchild Myles Washington. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
