We announce the death of Maria Cecilia Aquino of Tucson, Arizona, who passed away on October 4, 2026, at the age of 77. Maria will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband David; her parents, Alex and Henrietta; and her sister Esther. She is survived by: her sons, David (Julienne) and Louis (Sonia); her grandchildren, Michael-Anthony (Aneeka), David Nathan Jr., Louis Anthony Jr., Halle and Kaire; and her great grandchildren, Levi and Nehemiah.

A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (602 W Ajo Way, Tucson, AZ 85713). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Hope Cemetery (3555 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705).
