Marion Elizabeth (Garrod) Metter Obituary

Beth Metter passed away unexpectedly on September 22, 2021 as a result of a cardiac event. She devoted her life to being a passionate and caring nurse for 37 years in multiple states. Beth was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Metter and her brother Patrick A. Garrod. She is survived by her parents, Robert and Lorna Garrod, her daughters Brianna (Jacob) Montgomery and Holly (Jon Armijo) Garrod, her brother Michael (Laura) Garrod, her granddaughter Raven, her sister-in-law Alana Lykins, her nephews and niece Christian, Logan, Kaiden, and Mallie; her Idaho family: Butch and Hattie Hodges, Debbie (Ron) McAdow, Ed (Kathy) Hodges, nieces and nephews Kayla, Dustin, Jayson, Luke, Parker, and Atley; her beloved dog Murphy, and many other family and friends.
There will be a small family gathering in November, but no public memorial. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to one of Beth’s favorite charities: your local ASPCA, Goodwill, or public school.
