He is survived by: his wife Maryann Huerta; his daughter Megan Huerta-Mendiola (Benjamin Mendiola); his grandchildren, Emma, Gabriel and Matthew Mendiola; his son Michael Huerta (Kathy Huerta); his grandchildren, Martin III and Aubrey Huerta; and his brother Ruben Huerta. He is also survived by numerous extended family members, friends.
A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Holy Hope Cemetery (3555 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705).
