Mary Alice Keller Obituary
Mary Alice Keller, lovingly known to all as "Malice," passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in 1944 to Ernesto and Alicia Rueals, Mary Alice was a proud member of a multigenerational Tucsonan family whose roots trace back to the founding of the Presidio San Agustín in 1775. She carried that deep sense of history and heritage throughout her life, embodying the strength and spirit of the desert Southwest.
Mary Alice attended Salpointe Catholic High School and the University of Arizona, where her creativity flourished. She went on to have a distinguished career as a graphic designer, earning numerous awards for her innovative and inspired work.
Mary Alice Keller shared 52 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, William Keller. Together, they built a beautiful family, raising their son, Wren Keller. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Autum and Ryan Keller and cherished her role as a great-grandmother to Flynn and Leia Keller, who brought endless joy to her life.
Malice was a woman of many passions—art, history, gardening, birding, world travel, and a special love for big, beautiful dogs. But her greatest joy was her family. Her heart belonged to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the true center of her world.
Mary Alice Keller now embarks on her next great adventure, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and creativity. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
The Keller family invites all who loved Malice to honor her by embracing the things she cherished most: family, curiosity, and a life well-lived.
