He is survived by: his wife Lynn Rodriquez; his son Michael Payne (Joyce Drozd); his grandsons, Justin Payne and Jonathan Payne (Sky); and his siblings, Marian Morales, Ruth Perez, Penny Cardenas (Sal), Patsy Owens (Steve Hamrick), Laura Trejo (Tony Sr.), Esther Martin (Danny), Francisco Rodriquez Jr. (Hope Tapia), Ted Rodriquez (Linda), Joseph Rodriquez (Helmelda Zermeno), Jerry Rodriquez (Desery Celaya) and Maria Miranda (Robert). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Martinez Funeral Chapels - Tucson (2580 S 6th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85713). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Santa Cruz Catholic Church (1220 S 6th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85713). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Holy Hope Cemetery (3555 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705).
